INSIGHTS INTO THE FUTURE 🌿

I’ve witnessed many successful individuals underwent crashes several times but endured. Staying on purpose and belief that life is all about transforming situations made them well. Knowing when one door closes, a new nearby door opens to get on a brand new turn. They shifted positively from old doings and re-focused to their dreams, trusting that if they can’t get their goal in one venue, a search for another is a slot to play on. Through the course of time finding the courage to accept real fizzles, evolving pains and heartaches would transform into a perfect wisdom to lean on. This attitude was cultivated and developed in season that made them what they’re today – high in spirit, happy, loveful, inspired, resilient , determined, grateful, prayerful and remain steadfast! Strong men walking into the future.

In my case, for many years I have searched for perfection but I could never find one. Imagine commonly the leaves have fallen and the tree budded again, ever since seeing flower blossoms, and until now there’s no perfection, as I said. However, I have never doubted myself. I stay positive in a dissenting situation when no one wants to dwell.

In life we should, like a bamboo, pliant in all weathers, and learn to adjust and rework the harshness of the environment into the warmth of the sun and the coolness of the breeze. A paradigm shift leading to a great life .

Yellow is a symbol of change to a better life.

One morning, every year into this routine of gathering with the whole family to celebrate Christmas, I came up to the table of a solitary man sitting alone.

I smiled and said, “What would you like this morning, grandpa? I can recommend the hot coffee, bread, and fried sunny side egg associated with bacon”, when I saw the one white envelope on the table with my name on it. I looked the old man in the face, probably in a surprised way, and felt there was a card inside.

“This is the only thing I can give you, son, this season of joy”, he softly whispered.

“Hey. Open it”, he said.

A yellow card! It was a ‘Holiday’s Greeting Card’ . And I read the lines…

Out of love, life keeps one head above water. This is the perfect existence of persons with a badge having the right to live. As to earthly physical life possessing capabilities of growth, metabolism, response to external stimuli and reproduction.

I’m interested to understand when and how human life begins!

It’s at the instant the microscopic spermatozoa, which looks like a tadpole, the two-celled creature, mature and motile male sex cell typically having a compact head and one or more long flagella for swimming wriggled its way into a relatively large hairy egg.

Spermatozoa is a legion, estimated to more or less 80 millions. Their life expectancy is short and their mission is virtually impossible – only one can fertilize the egg.

Boom! A human life is formed. It’s an astounding performance. This little fellow who did the fertilizing and a fertilized egg are both entitled to have the right to live.

This one incredible searcher is eventually growing and building strength in his new environment – the solid world. Seems like he came from a croaker family, now is deemed ready for his life quest.

Let’s go back to his past!

A destined winner of the past among  tremendous fellows, his little tail swinging away, wben he grittily fares to seek the egg – who has descended from her ovarian alcove hide in the fold of the fallopian tube, where she will await a beau.

How he won the race?

When the bomb explodes inside, he then objectively swim through the uterus to find the egg as fast as he could like an efficient car in a long trip, or on speed as the greatest runner. He struggled onward with focus, sustained energy, one by one to the left and right of him, his companions collapsed from exhaustion. At last, he alone of the 80 million, wins through to his confidante. They are at length united with each other as one.

This is a tremendous breakthrough, to excel among the 80 million in line.

His destiny is unfolded to live the gift of life as a Winner.

This is your story. My tale. Our chronicle. Every individual life’s journey. Let us never give up. We are all DESTINED TO  WIN. It is written, a man may fall but he will rise again!

🍏THOMAS ALVA EDISON. He failed more than 10,000 times before he created the light bulb. And that’s the thing that makes him a true example of determination. His failure story is really motivational. The main things that help him getting success was working hard, never giving up even after a lot of failures, and believing in himself.

🍏ABRAHAM LINCOLN is the 16th President of the United States of America. He made the famous Gettysburg Address in the history of the world, for exactly two minutes. But before he reached the point of becoming famous, he failed many times in his career:

Re-entering politics, he ran for Congress, and was badly defeated.

A young man ran for the legislature, and was badly swamped.

He next entered business-failed-and spent 17 years of his life paying up the debts of a worthless partner.

He was in love with a beautiful young woman to whom he became engaged-then she died.

He then tried to get an appointment to the United States Land Office – but failed.

He became a Candidate for the United States Senate-and was badly defeated.

Two years later he was defeated by Douglas.

One failure after another -bad failures -great setbacks. But in the face of all this, he kept on trying and became one of the greatest men in all history.

🍏COLONEL SANDERS was rejected 1000 times before his first chicken was sold. After many years of serving his secret fried chicken recipe he found himself in need of a new career. At the age of 65, he began to collect his Social Security Check of about $100 as he wondered how he was going to survive financially. He began selling fried chicken from his roadside restaurant in Corbin, Kentucky during the Great Depression. In 1952, Sanders identified the potential of restaurant franchising, and the first KFC Franchise opened in Salt Lake City, Utah.

🍏WALT DISNEY started his career from selling newspapers and snacks to passengers on the railroad. He used to deliver the newspaper at 4:30 in the morning. He attempted to join the US Army but he was rejected for being underage. He joined the Red Cross as ambulance driver. He went broke seven times and had nervous breakdown before becoming  successful. Today his business is a giant in the entertainment industry.

🍏ZANE GREY became a dentist and hated it. He wrote several novels.  Failed. He wrote a western novel, The Last of the Plainsmen. It too was rejected. He was told he has no future as a writer and to give it up. He persisted and was 40 before his first book sold. He had 65 books published while he was alive-24 after he died. His books sold more than 40 million copies. Forty nine of his novels were made into movies.

Ninety percent (90%) of my entire career life is immersed in sales leadership, training, and people management. My worth was proven in these category as award-winning business leader.

I came from diversified industries – pharmaceutical, direct selling, school operation, life  insurance, pre-need and business ownership.

I believe knowledge acquired on paper seems shallow still. To thoroughly understand this one must personally experience hands-on and most importantly in the street to prove the worth.

On the other hand, school diploma and advanced study are all credited like passports to enter the world of many challenges on higher level. In every highway, those papers are nothing without actions. So when rubber meets the road, we are on our way to hit our unlimited dreams. It only needs positive mind setting. The mind has wondrous powers. A pure mind is able to accomplish all merits, it is like gold in this world.

Surprisingly, I’ve seen individuals holding no academic credentials but they rise and shine by perfectly following the given business system, they hustle, and make career of what they do in the trade. This livelihood profile is obvious in the direct selling industry where people from all walks of life join the business to learn, to earn, and to travel.

My ulimate goal in life is to rise and shine one day at a time. I don’t give up. How did I make the star to rise & shine?

#DESIRE. Anything one owns emanated from a desire to own it. Think it, and you’ll have it.

#EFFORT. Those who make effort are mindful, good in conduct, self-disciplined, and living in faith.

#DELIVER. Deliver HD Quality performance – Hardwork (H) and Determination (D).

#DON’T COMPETE. However, my greatest adversary is thyself. Prove to yourself whatever you wish to achieve. Many times I failed but most of opportunities l faced had been won.

Learn a lesson from this! If a person doesn’t experience and patiently bear with life’s difficulties, he will never truly be numbered among the outstanding.

Success is given to those who have a compassionate heart. Also, if a person is to be successful, he must endure the unendurable and do the undoable.

Let’s meditate from this ancient thoughts:

I created this short narrative to emphasize the power of “asking” in selling.

Allow me to share with you my first challenging and exciting engagement in my sales career as fresher, a new blood entrant in multi-national pharmaceutical company. The actual conversation went through when my first superior urged me to hit my sales target.

Here’s the real story which sounds bold and daring when one gives a commitment from the heart.

"The challenge before you, Rod, is whether you accept and cooperate with me and do everything to achieve your goal. Do you understand?", Caloy's invitation. 

He was my first superior in my first job as Pharmaceutical Service Representative. 
A compassionate District Manager who was trying to unlock the greatness in me. 

I looked at him humbly and said, "Yes ser", without any hesitation. 

And he asked me again, "Will you cooperate with me?" 

"You already heard, ser" , I said, "Yes."

"I asked you to hit your goal this month. A new car is at stake. We will change your old service car with a nice one!", Caloy added. 

"From 20K as mandated, give us 100K sales and the bacon is yours", Caloy expanded the challenge. 

It was the first big deal in my sales career that needs to be resolved between the two of us. Of course, I'd like to drive a brand new car.

From Hospital Team in Metro Manila, I was transferred to a new area - the island of Panay, Philippines which  comprised of four provinces. The company provided me with a service car, a Mitsubishi Lancer '79 model running with a saturn engine. The model that won the Safari Grand Prix. However, the paint looked old and wasn't good enough to appreciate. But the drive was fantastic. 

When rubber meets the road, actions begin out there in the market place. Rain or shine.

"You gonna hit that goal this month", repeatedly I heard the lines registered in my mind.

"How are you going to do it?", Caloy asked. I looked at him sincerely and said quietly,"Very well."

"You must be bold enough to pass the trail. Most of all, you get focused", he said. 

He walked over to his "attache case bag" and got something, a printed paper. He asked me, "Do you read poems? Here is for you - 'Victory' . Read it every morning before you hit the road."

Again he asked me, "Now, what's your plan?" 

The question was so heavy to me being a fresher.

" Huh?", I surprisingly answered. 

"I said, what's your plan. Your actions to hit that goal. I want systematic details. Oh boy, you gonna hit that goal", Caloy insisted on the spot.

Then I deliberately gave my points saying, "I must communicate with you always, I must be consistent in what I do, I must be determined to produce sales frequently, I must have focus in everything I do. Thus, beggining today, I commit myself to deliver the numbers by all means, ser! "

To make a long story short, I did it. At the end of the month I registered 100% against target.

The following month a nice car was delivered in my area, a Ford Laser Sedan, the first electronic car in the Philippines at that time. 

Afterwards, Caloy made some arrangement to meet me for a performance review. 

He said, "What you've done was similar to a long training." He gave analogy to a fighting rooster:

"In the first stage, it appears fierce though it lacks strength like a clamoring street hooligan. 

In the second stage, it is still tense and indominable, just like the critical and passionate words of a youth.

In the third stage, though its competitiveness appears to have completely disappeared, fierceness still remains in the eyes, meaning that aggressiveness and impulsiveness are still there."

This is my true story how I got a spot in the direct selling industry in the 90’s. I write tbis to convey my thanks for Mrs. Violy Tortola. She was our team mentor-leader in the booming market of T***WARE, the world’s #1 plastic container with a global slogan “the best thing that could happen to your kitchen.” I really admired this woman the way she handled people. She’s very compassionate. I learned from her the meaning of leadership and teamwork in business. During heydays so far I hadn’t seen any moment of her being unenthusiastic.

Violy was the Authorized Distibutor at that time when we had our first meeting. She’s in her late 30’s, dressed in business, appealing, and bearing a shadow of success, the way I looked at her. She’s like a magnet that attracted me to listen her proposal. Violy stood in front of me, one on one, while talking about business opportunity in direct selling.

While the presentation was nearing to end, she instantly picked out from her bag some papers and pen and she handed over saying, “Selling is the easiest job if you work it hard. There is money here with unlimited income. What the hell yuh waitin’ for? Let’s get right down, please sign this application form”, she said.

I started right from the very first step of the ladder as T***ware Dealer following a business system that made this enterprise famous – the casual and ordinary product demo at the “T***ware Party”, and maybe some of you was there enjoying and witnessing how this event could actually happen. It’s very effective to get big sales in a party system. You can’t hit ’em if you don’t talk face to face at party guests.

In a short period through the time of deals, I set up my own team by bringing people from diverse backgrounds to join with me in the business. As time went on, my group became big in numbers, my income was multiplied better, and garnered high recognitions consistently every end of the year.

One time Violy stunningly asked me, “How did you manage your team to succeed?”

I said, “First, I shared the goals to the entire team; second, I set rules for coordinated efforts to ensure mutual understanding about the nuts-and-bolts of the sales processes; and third, was consistent communication, to note deadlines, and follow through.”

In the last five years, my team’s great performance was obvious and recorded in the history of the company.

Now the Big Event came, in our hands was a HALL OF FAME plaque and I never could find words to express the courage and faith these team of mine gave us. This award made us all humbled that shaped our minds smaller. Just like a pebble stone, which, though small, is tough. Only toughness makes one genuine.

Here’s a fiction story – My Buttercup: An Enduring Fantasy, reflecting on my first heart throb.

Thinking of you as I explore the road in the cool air, singing my song.

At that time, during what would turn out to be the final year of my college journey, I found myself reflecting on the culmination of several years of academic growth, personal challenges, and transformative experiences. This period marked a vital chapter in my life, as I prepared to transition from the structured environment of college education to the uncertainties and opportunities that lay ahead in the wider road.

I stayed most often in the library with friends, or in “tambayan” beside the canteen area. This place  has played a pivotal role in fostering a sense of community and belonging among students. This simple place held a wealth of special memories for me. It carried within echoes of cherished moments, personal milestones, and heartfelt connections that made valuable in my eyes.

Back then, we spent time together with young Coco and Mongo. Laying one’s eyes on the other side of the table, Philip , sucking hard on a straw inserted into a thin water-melon fruit shake, rejoined us.

By the time Philip got to be with us on the same table, now Sunshine, a strikingly beautiful young lass, entered the shop all by herself, her presence catching the attention of everyone nearby. With an air of quiet confidence, she browsed the selection before picking out a small snack, her graceful demeanor leaving a lasting impression. She was the epitome of every boy’s dream on campus-blessed with both stunning beauty and exceptional intellect. Her charm and brilliance made her the subject of admiration and fascination, turning her into an idol many aspired to know or emulate. For most guys, she wasn’t just a fleeting crush but an enduring fantasy, embodying the perfect combination of grace, wit, and allure that seemed almost too good to be true. Her presence alone could light up a room, leaving a trail of awe and admiration wherever she went. She has a particular fondness for juicy, sweet mangoes and a delicious cheesy pizza pie. These are her go-treats that bring her joy and brighten her day.

“I’m proud to say she’s my buttercup. I’m in love… I’m all shook up and stuck on her. Her face is truly captivating, radiating a natural beauty that draws my attention effortlessly. It carries a unique charm, with features that seem perfectly harmonized, exuding grace and elegance. There’s a warmth and depth in her expression that makes her beauty not only striking but also unforgettable”, young Coco expressed his feelings and emotions.

Philip, reluctantly parting his lips from his straw, said, “Can you imagine being proud to say that somebody was your buttercup?”

Young Coco thought about it.

“Imagining”, said Philip, “you’re introducing her to us, and you go, ‘This here is MY BUTTERCUP! Hey, did you pee your pants?”

“Oh my goodness” said Coco, looking down at his denim pant, wet. “Here comes Sunshine “, said Philip.

“Oh my”, said Coco. He easily untucked his white T-shirt and tried to cover it down the wet spot of the pants.

“Hi,” said Sunshine staring her eyes to young Coco.

“Hello,” said Coco, twisting his lower body sideways, trying to aim his wet spot away from her.

“Is that a squirt gun in your pocket?,” asked Sunshine , “or are you just glad to see me?”

“Yeah, I’m glad and excited to see you today,” young Coco said.

The allotted time had come to an end, and it was time for everyone to transition to the next scheduled class or subject. With the clock signaling the close of the current session, we all gathered our belongings and prepared to move on to continue with the day’s academic schedule.

I said, “Got up boys, see yah later.” Coco rushed away with us.

In a rush, I caught a glimpse of young Coco playfully winking at Sunshine, a mischievous smile lighting up her face. Sunshine couldn’t help but laugh in response, her laughter ringing out like a melody. With a cheerful wave, she called out, “See you later Coco! Stick to me like glue!” Her words hung in the air, full of warmth and the promise of their next encounter.🏛️

There was silence around, still and dark under a midnight sky. I stand and paused at the window of my bedroom, and my eyes were watchful and alert to any sign of movement. I saw fireflies darted through the night, brief flickers swiftly dimmed, but everything appeared to be normal. I eased onto the windowsill, sat listening a moment longer, then dropped silently to my bed. I prayed for safety and thanksgiving, I drew a deep breath, saying goodnight, and closed my eyes to sleep.

The next day in the morning, I welcomed a new day with my eyes figured the shadow of the sunshine emerging from the shed of the trees near the window.

My eyes are witnesses of the coming  day and passing of the night until the break of dawn.

To give a reflection, the eye can be likened to looking out a one way mirror from the inside.

The eye can see the entire cosmos using whatever lenses are focused upon, but yet it omits the “self”. One is unable to clearly perceive own daily actions. There must be a guide to instruct which directions to go in. Who then is this guide? There must be two.

One guide are friends.

They give advice and reminders with gentleness and tact. They help correct mistakes by showing the right path. They encourage and stay in adversity. Good language benefits others.

The other one guide are enemies.

They use belittling and harsh language to ridicule and attack a person. They hang on influential people and are snobs. They are dissolute, and lead the rest astray. Coarse language is harmful to all.

Without the guidance of others, we’ll neither have progress nor awareness.

However, it is all up to a person which guide he will follow. Anyway, he is the ‘Captain of His Flagship’, he definitely knows the northern star as a guide.

Life is what he makes of it. His destination may be reached in a few or longer hours but all depends on his determination to wield all obtacles for his goals.


He should value the hardships on account of a better tomorrow. He should be proud that for once in his life, he had cried and persevered during the mournful nights of his fall and strove hard to rise up and move on.

He is the Captain of his Flaship.

We must all be aware of this number 70. All is destined to old age. And no one will disagree age climbs up the ladder every year. From time immemorial it is lucky for a man to live to seventy (70), or exceed to 80+ if a man has the strenght to continue living. All in God’s grace.

Examine the years of childhood and old age and there’s not much left between. Only save worries, pride, pain, and emptiness. All our days are filled with sighing. Is there anything in the universe but emptiness?

All seasons in the sand – spring, summer, autumn and winter are just a snap of the fingers. Hair has become white now, the flowers are fresh yesteryear and become dry. Changing colors are part of the process, like the morning dew and like the fragrance of candle light is the evening breeze. Why wait for tomorrow, when one can live today? Only to later understand emptiness.

“What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while, and then vanishes.”

Comes a season when the moon lacks brightness and a time when flowers lose their beauty. The shadow of how life ends. The next turning page is a new  phase of living that you will notice representing as the bell sees off the dusk and the cock announces the arrival of the dawn.

One must love life for it dwells in a short period of time. More regard to good health as the most important matter.  Say heaven isn’t far away to live a joyous life.

Seventy is the heaven’s numbered ticket to exit this world returning home!  A numerical threshold from womb to tomb. Shall one be held back by one’s tombs overgrown with weeds? Since one have already suffered owns heart, what can be gained from regret and sorrow? Don’t worry.

Instead, one must live joy today. It brightens the world with color and fills life with hope. Before home strech, one must allow life to be filled with a grateful heart. It is in fact the wisest attitude towards life. Who knows what tomorrow may brings?

In life’s journey, leave all Worries, Pride, Pain, & Emptiness behind. One must travel light. “Forget the age when one has  still a mission to achieve and a vision in life to accomplish .”

Age is just a number.  Know that life is more beautiful for a person to experience when getting old. Cheers!

As human being, it is natural to worry every now and then. Maybe this is caused by negative thoughts that come our way. Or anything that bothers our minds or feelings which usually creating fears and anxiety.

Everyday one is always pursuing  money, food, drinks, and clothing, at sundown causing nothing but worries to the mind.

One is sighing upon this delusory life, when will it’s long days finally end? Morning after morning of leisureless times, year after year’s unawareness of old age.

Look! Not even a hundred years old yet, one already bears a thousand-year load of worries. Having just recovered one’s own health, worries over his children and grand children nevertheless ensue.

There is hope in everything. After the rain, as one complain about how difficult it is to walk on the muddy road, why not look up and see that a starry night sky happens to be lighting up the path beneath your feet?

Let’s understand life to be happy, to not be calculative regarding what is true or false, gain or loss, fame or benefit, nobility or worthlessness, wealth or poverty. With that, worries and gloomy days will be gone with the wind.

Carol Kershaw, a Clinical Psychologist and author of a book, The Worry-Free Mind, said ” Next time you feel a bit worried, try smiling ! By holding a smile for a minute, you’ll find that your worry will begin to vanish.

Don’t worry! One can’t master his entire life in one day. Master the day, one day at a time, and then keep doing it everyday. 🏛️

For you already have life and a body-and they are far more important than what to eat and wear. Look at the birds! And why worry about the clothes? Look at the field lilies! They don’t worry about theirs. Yet King Solomon in all his glory was not clothed as beautifully as they. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won’t he more surely care for you, O men of little faith?

So don’t worry all about having enough food and clothing. Why be like the heathen? For they take pride in all these things and are deeply concerned about them. But your heavenly Father already knows perfectly well that you need them, and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to.

So don’t be anxious about tomorrow. God will take care of your tomorrow too. Live one day at a time.

Many years ago, when I was working as Life Insurance Sales Trainer in one of the largest life insurance companies in the Philippines, aside from the basic system every agent must know in selling I always emphasized self-inventory guidelines on how to deal with a fragile situation since the business covers life, death, and investments benefits. Most often people are afraid to hear  the impact of ‘lossing life’ as a subject.

However, the outcomes of checking oneself is also applicable to every career in general. “Know thyself” before going to face every transaction in the trade.

Recently the mirror got dusty, it has never been polished before. Today is the day of evidence, there is a need in self-inventory. Consider the following:

🍏Be expressive, and remember to smile. Look your best. Appearance must be well presented and in one's outfit must be proper and neat. It gives one the courage and confidence, as if one put oneself in the hands of an expert. 

🍏Look upon others with compassion, and remember to care. Through compassion, one must expand the scope of love. When there is love there is care. If there is love and closeness among all people, how wide the world and universe would be. 

🍏Speak kind words, and remember to praise. This is one of the quickest ways to hold the confidence of others. Anything one speak must be credible. Remember this:"I will speak ill of no man-and speak all the good I know of everybody". 

🍏Be of service, and remember to help... When one do this, people will remember him. As the saying in sales goes, "Never forget your customer; never let your customer forget you." 

🍏Listen, and remember to identify the need. The importance of being a good listener, showing the other person you are sincerely interested in what he is saying, giving him all the  eager attention and appreciation that he craves and is so hungry for, but seldom gets. "There is an art in silence, and there is an eloquence in it too." - Cicero

All of us would profit by uttering this prayer every morning: "Oh Lord, help me to keep my big mouth shut, until I know what I'm talking about... Amen."

Check yourself!

Sometimes you are the toxic person. Sometimes you are the mean, negative person you're looking to push away. Sometimes the problem is you. And that doesn't make you less worthy.

Keep on growing. Keep on checking yourself. Keep on motivating yourself. Mistakes are opportunities. Look at them, own them, grow from them and move on.

To start a day here is a fiction story written to herald the messages of Psalm 1 as the short letter and what happened in the place called Berea (Acts 17).  May one creates deep reflection from the message to find comforting path for the soul.

After the storm, around 3 o’clock in the afternoon while I was sitting alone on a bench not far from my garage, a spirit man came, tall with blond hair and white robes. He smiled and sit near at my side. He was very beautiful.

Of course, I wondered why he suddenly appeared and in my surprise I asked, “Who are you?”

I felt there was instant power flash as if electricity went out with the lightning bolts around, but there’s none I could see. Then he told me, ” I’m an angel who came from the future to tell yah the Lord was happy of what you were doing when He learned you collaborated with the people in Berea ‘who were more open-minded… and gladly listened to’ His messages. They searched the scriptures day by day to check up on his ministers’ statements to see if they were really so. As a result, many of them believed, including several prominent women and men.”

I felt comfortable and at peace with the angel man. He gave me a great new understanding and joy.

He said, “I command you to tell your brothers and believers, the Lord will always love you all and about this short  letter. “

“Always remember in your heart this Short Letter (Psalm 1) that I’m giving you today. Read it now”, he commanded.

"Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. 

But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.  

He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruits in season and whose leaf does not wither. 

Whatever he does prospers." 🏛️

After a short moment, he vanished like a smoke. In the following day I dared to read again the ‘short letter’ from the place where he talked by me in a cool and bright morning of TODAY.

Sharing this note to everyone, I personally may as well become enlightened in the here and now, and become friend ardently expecting to meet again. 🏛️

With all sophistication time passed by swiftly. It flies and I’m the pilot. I’ve been trying my best to live with no regrets of the past. I savoured every moment – the time of happiness, sorrow, success, and failure. What becomes of the soup in the bowl I across throughout my existence, show incurable grievances deep as the ocean? All events that I encountered gave a sentimental mark of remembrance in my heart and delicately felt just like enjoying a walk under a pouring hard rain or enduring the heat of a sunny day wearing a smile. But now, it’s fading when bravery covers my intentions to grow.

I permitted to stay those traces of dreams desired, drafted, and worked for during those days gone by. Nothing but true, all soul’s encountered gives passionate meaning to life I know. I must love. The cool breeze in the refreshing wind blows away the fiery fear and anger so that all is in harmony.

I became brave with all the odds passing by I met. Raising my fingers to hold my limitless dreams. I have my own little fantasy and trusted instinct, they’re a part of seasoning to dare and hopeful for the things I favored to come. Sticking firmly to my commitments to continue strive even harder to realize unending mission to make people smile as tidbit of their humbled aspiration to design a beautiful life.

All in all, after carefully handled, refined, or fixed all matters that barred my capability to win will be transformed into faith & courage. They oiled my machinery to run smoothly. Ready for the next steps to move forward. I will, in this way, find more understanding and strength to face reality. Thus, I became brave in all circumstances.

This time around I’m ready to face the challenges to come anytime of day. I’m bold and brave, having a strong conviction to win and believe something morally correct is coming to grab on.

My ageless youthful spirit inside me declares that I’ve grown so much inside. Made  to last and none to dismay. Pigments of bad traits are ruined. Never be shaken again because I’ll never trust fear. It doesn’t know my hidden strength that I possessed. Today, the best part of my life is I’m brave.

And so, after a week on vacation in Baguio City, the Summer Capital of the Philippines, I’m back in Iloilo, the City of Love and trying to decide if I have missed anything.

Yes I have. What I miss is the time to read books. My favorite books. Reading is my habit until it becomes my passion to learn new information that I need in my journey into the future.

New fashions and technology models will have come and gone but reading is what exactly concerns me more ever since. It enhances my passion to live life, that for every reading gives learnings, new scenes, new ideas, thrills and excitement. Finally, reading open my soul and keep my good heart beating.

I love to read, though reading is a hobby for me, the truth is I’m not a good reader. I just keep on trying.

I miss to read and re-read the sexiness of the ❤️Betsy by Harold Robbins, the inspirations from 🌻The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino, 🚗The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari  by Robin S. Sharma,🏛️Dante the perflexing classical literature by Shakespeare, ⛄🌲Christmas Cards during the yuletide season, 🔖a heart to heart conference with God through the Scripture, and many more that hold my attention.

The biggest reason to why a person reads is to rid him of mediocrity.

I KNOW only books can bring the expansiveness of space and infiniteness of time in front of a reader.

I LEARN only books can direct the already flying signals of a noble life for the one who reads.

I RECOGNISE only books can present the profound wisdom in that wonderful contrast against ignorance and hideousness to the person who reads.

💡Reading will enrich the mind with ancient and latest experiences. The more that you read, the more things you will know.

In contrast, no matter how sharp the blade, it will eventually rust without constant sharpening.

MY BEST FRIEND told me this amazing story to tell you today.

The story of the Ten Lepers is full of Action and Mercy from the heart of God.

The Ten Lepers comprise a group of people excluded from community life because of their medical condition. They are considered the outcast portion of the society.

In the story, the lepers, “keeping their distance”, call out to Jesus, not specifically to heal them but to “have mercy!”

Their call for mercy, though, must indicate a desire to be healed of their afflictions.

The short narrative shows only ten percent (10%) of those who were healed or granted favor of the best of life can afford to thank and give glory to God.

The ninety percent (90%) were ungrateful to God. Nowadays, ungratefulness is the attitude of most people. They take all the credits of their accomplishments and achievements to themselves.

Carefully examine the tale how the amazing power of God moves and how the 10 lepers demonstrate their faith.

THE TEN LEPERS

AS JESUS and his disciples continued onward toward Jerusalem, they reached the border between Galilee and Samaria, and as they entered a village there, ten lepers stood at a distance, crying out, "Jesus, sir, have mercy on us!"

HE LOOKED at them and said, "Go to the Jewish priest and show him that you are healed!" And as they were going, their leprosy disappeared.

ONE OF THEM came back to Jesus, shouting, "Glory to God, I'm healed!"

He fell flat on the ground in front of Jesus, face downward in the dust, thanking him for what he had done.

This man was a despised Samaritan.

These days I find I can look back at the past with new eyes, suddenly seeing to understand things that I missed at the time of my childhood days – the Tom and Jerry cartoons in black and white TV shows.

To review, Tom and Jerry is an American cartoon series about a hapless cat’s never-ending pursuit of a clever mouse. Tom is the scheming cat, and Jerry is the sounky mouse.

The series was driven entirely by action and visual humour. The characters almost NEVER SPOKE .

But in this article, surprisingly Tom and Jerry talk! Here’s the one line Q&A coversation :

Jerry: “In this world, how should I deal with someone who slanders me, bullies me, insults me, ridicules me, disparages me, belittles me, offends me, or deceives me?“

Tom: “Just tolerate him, let him be, avoid him, respect him, ignore him, and wait for a few years to see WHAT BECOMES OF HIM.”

The conversation reflects the test of time. One must be watchful to see the proof of occurence – “cause-effect philosophy (karma).”

Human existence is not a flattery to think deeply as waves on the vast ocean’s shore, or say not those who were thrown out incidentally are good as the sinking sand. The waves will wash the seaside as well as the flowing sand and both are carefully steered by the wind. Once the wild sand blows away, real gold will be revealed. 🏛️

Here’s a touching story of Ruth of the bible. It’s a story about God and how He restores those who look to Him with hope. It started when Ruth has made a decision that changed her life and the lives of others.

When Naomi, a godly woman, loses her entire family (husband and two sons) in dark times of famine, God restores her losses back through the presence of Ruth – her daughter in law. Ruth stays with Naomi, her mother-in-law, following the death of her husband to care for her. ❤️

A story my good friend told me to share…

At that time, a man named Elimelech left his country because of a famine and moved to a nearby land. With him were his wife, Naomi, and his two sons, Mahlon and Chilion. 

During the time of their residence there, the man died and Naomi was left with her two sons. These young men, Mahlon and Chilion married girls Orpah and Ruth. But later, both men died, so that Naomi was left alone, without her husband or sons.

She decided to return to her native land with her daughters-in-law, for she had heard that the Lord had blessed his people by giving them good crops again.

But after they had begun their homeward journey, Naomi changed her mind and said to her two daughters-in-law, "Why don't you return to your parents' homes instead of coming with me? And may the Lord reward you for your faithfulness to your husbands and to me. And may he bless you with another happy marriage." Then she kissed them, and they all broke down and cried.

"No," they said. "We want to go with you to your people."

But Naomi replied, "It is better for you to return to your own people. Do I have younger sons who could grow up to be your husbands? No, my daughters, return to your parents'homes, for I am too old to have a husband.. Oh how I grieve for you that the Lord has punished me in a way that injures you."

And again they cried together, and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law goodbye, and returned to her childhood home; but Ruth insisted on staying with Naomi.

" See," Naomi said to her," your sister in law has gone back to her people and to her gods; you should do the same."

But Ruth replied, "Don't make me leave you, for I want to go wherever you go and to live wherever you live; your people shall be my people, and your God shall be my God; I want to die where you die and be buried there. May the Lord  do terrible things to me if I allow anything but death do separate us. "

When Naomi saw that Ruth had her heart set on going with her, she gave in.

And so the two of them traveled on together to the homeland of Naomi, and the entire village was stirred by their arrival.

I’m happy to share my dream of an angel. This is a true story as described in the first paragraph. However, the whole narrative is a product of my faith linked to the Book of Numbers 22, when the Lord caused the donkey to speak! It’s amazing!

At that time of night when I was lying on my bed facing the window. I fell asleep and in my vision I saw an angel. When I lifted up my eyes, a man clothed in white glowing linen, his body and his face were like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, was floating outside the window with a drawn sword in his hand. He has a striking form in its all white glowing appearance. His entire body, including his back, hand, and wings were all flaming in white. Very bright.

I was afraid that my feet became frozen. In my trembling lips, I asked, “Who are you?”

He replied, “I was dispatched by the King to act in his name. I command you to go with me to a place in the desert so you must see great things which you do not know. Come, let’s go.”

He held my hand and we travelled at tremendous speeds, far exceeding the limits of the physical world. And we arrived within moments to a land in the desert. The land was very hot in temperature. I saw a lot of arid, open soil and rocks and not much grass and plants.

When I was about to asked him of the region, he’s lost. He’s not around and I saw myself standing alone with my feet on the sand.

And then I saw a great occurrence.

At a near distance, up there, were messengers of King Balak of Moab, riding on camels travelling to see Balaam, the man of God. I came and joined the caravan with them in thoroughfare. It’s late in the afternoon when we arrived, and Balaam invited us to stay overnight.

In the morning, Balaam got up, he saddled his donkey and started off with his men, the servants.

In the road, Balaam and two servants were riding along, and his donkey saw an Angel of the Lord standing in the road with a drawn sword. The donkey bolted off the road into a field, but Balaam beat her back onto the road.

Now, the Angel of the Lord stood at a place where the road went between two vineyard walls. When  the donkey saw him standing there, she squirmed past by pressing against the wall, crushing Balaam’s foot in the process. So he beat her again.

Then, the Angel of the Lord moved farther down the road and stood in a place so narrow that the donkey couldn’t get by at all. So she lay down in the road! In a great fit of temper Balaam beat her again with his staff.

Then the Lord caused the donkey to SPEAK !

“What have I done that deserves your beating me these three times?” she asked.

“Because you have made me look like a fool!” Balaam shouted. “I wish I had a sword with me, for I would kill you.”

“Have I ever done anything like this before in my entire life?”, the donkey asked.

“No, ” he admitted.

Then, the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes and he saw the Angel of the Lord standing in the roadway with drawn sword, and he fell flat on the ground before him.

“Why did you beat your donkey those three times?” the Angel demanded.

“I have come to stop you because you are headed for destruction. Three times the donkey saw me and shied away from me; otherwise I would certainly have killed you by now and spared her.”

Upon hearing what the Angel spoke, my spirit came back to my physical body and I woke up. And I saw sunshine. It’s a beautiful Sunday morning.

I named the place, where an Angel of the Lord appeared to me, Roder which means “the Lord is my strength.” 🍏

Leave fortune and misfortune, success and failure, to the hands of heaven.

When the drought of life prevails around, then a man raised his voice, “I need help. Where are my friends? I can’t see them. They’re not around. As if the shadows of old friends cross far in distant lands.”

“I heard some of them heralded my downfall to my disgrace, they laughed at me, and stave off against me of my threadbare”, he mourned.

Incidentally, upon hearing of a man’s misfortune, a stranger guy came to the man. He looked him straight to the eyes full of compassion and mercy. Suddenly the wind blew softly, as if in a romantic candle-lit wedding night spent at a lovely garden, as the stranger guy moved closer in silence beside the man and put his hand on man’s shoulder and said, “Definitely brother, friends are many but one in a thousand a confidant. He is like a shelter, a treasure or a life saving medicine. If you find one get hold of her.”

“Here I am, your friend, now if you allow me to come inside your house I will make a covenant of friendship with you”, a stranger asked.

“Yes Sir, you’re welcome to my place”, the man replied.

And the guy smiled. He throwed his arms and embrace the man, and said, “From now on, I will be with you always. I will teach you the right path of life, I will give you my blessings and my treasures you need.”

Keeping on the promise, the man was restored eventually from adversity to opulence. And the golden sunlight near noontime creeps into his room through the window lattice, and sparkles in all directions with translucense.

He gazed at the sun’s bright and clear natures as if he could recognize the dazzling colors that intertwine with one another, and then pursue its untraceable motions.

Always, he remembered the promise. The man felt the joy, with tears of strength, knowing his friend raised him up and placing his name in the list of successful candidates. 🍏

Look! I have been standing at the door, and I am constantly knocking. If anyone hears me calling him and opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with him and he with me.

At that time, my father was happy in knowing that I got my first job. He advised, “Now that you are starting to earn for yourself and for your future family, make it a habit to keep in mind – don’t forget to bring home the bacon.”

In my ignorance, I thought my father would like me to eat bacon regularly. The truth was, I hadn’t seen yet what bacon looks like, and even tasted the texture in my younger days. I only heard that at most the rich can afford to buy this food.

Now I’m happy to share this idea in my first encounter that bacon tastes very good when served with fried eggs.

At work I heard the charge from our head of sales when he said, “Howdy folks. How y’all? What the hell yuh waitin’ for? Let’s act now and delve into the market. Bring home the bacon at the end of the day.”

It is all about achieving something effecting  to – hitting the goal. To work hard and deliver what is expected to be done.

This expression is apllicable not only in sales undertaking but also in every department of any organization in pursuit to achieve something.

Throughout my career life, I used to serve the bacon to make everybody happy and was excited to hear from somebody in the team, “Wake up guys, I bring home the bacon.”

The bacon tastes better when everyone in the team has to partake of it. 🍏

This is a true story write-up. The actual scenario transpired during my first job interview that opens my career journey into the future.

🌿When I woke up this morning, my mind flashed back on college days. In my course curriculum, a Social Political Thought, though interesting, I didn’t like it most. But honestly I learned, struggled and hardly came to an end.

I discovered how the 13th century philosophers like Rene Descartes, Emmanuel Kant, Thomas Hobbes, and St. Augustine discussed and popularized the meaning of ‘love‘.

During the initial job interview, I was young and fresh then at a multi-national pharmaceutical company, the control panel asked  me what to talk about. I replied with a soft smile and said, “I wanna talk about love.”

The grapple started with all eagerness and enthusiasm. All the time in the world was bequeathed upon me to show my knowledge of the subject.

I presented my piece in confidence, with feelings, and passion to impress. In eye to eye contact and belly to belly set up, I saw how attentive they were to my impromptu, having the smiles while listening to my eyes. Obviously, a street boy looking for a job had just delivered entertainment to their expectations. My heartfelt conveyance was driven smoothly with some fresh points sealed from four walls of the academe.

Being weird, as it seems, in thought patterns and provoking ideas that I had, I was hired as Pharmaceutical Service Representative (PSR) . It was my first career job launch, specifically in sales at age 22.

Two decade past, I encountered what true l o v e ❤️ means, and here it is 👇

LOVE is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out.

IF you love someone, you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him.

Yes, love is so wonderful that it is hard to define. But it is easier to tell how one acts moving in love.

Let’s be of the opinion, love never fails. It will never cease to exist. New knowledge and understanding may correct things we once believed but love is not up in the air.

Love is a true gift of heaven. Hold on to your heart with truth. 🍏

There is no need to say everything you know. Do not believe everything you see. Digest everything you hear. Process your every encounter on tbe spot. Sift and filter through sediment ; overtime, your energies and capabilities will be strengthened & can give rise to Great Things.

CONTROL is a function of management which helps to check errors to take corrective actions. This is done to minimize deviation from standards and ensure that the stated goals of the organization are achieved in a desired manner. (Wikipedia)

A leader has to impose guidelines to the team or an individual within a business entity to perform  specific actions and avoid another set of particular actions so that they can reach their destined target.

Throughout my career life I've been in sales management and business operations from diverse fields (pharmaceutical, school, insurance, direct selling) to experience how the excitement of hitting targets were done. The glory of it, there was no situation that I never did. 

💡Indeed, success is possible when a team leader handled best the situation and walk with one's participative spirits and winning attitude. Teamwork. Having the will even small matters can be turned into a major event.

Herewith are three contributing management controls while work is in progress. The hammer, the bell, and the music. 🍏

THE HAMMER

When the standards were  established, hammer out activities in hardwork and discipline to do a wholesome deeds.

THE BELL

Ring the bell as a warning, not to give way to jealousy and conceit. Instead, encourage everyone to practice compassion, kindness and patience. If one unable to be patient in little things, how will one be able to do the great work of helping one another.

THE MUSIC

Music and song deliver comfort to the soul. They help alleviate tensions and pressures. Give your soul with bits of accommodation to music and a song and you will feel clear and full of delight. Relaxed.

Early to bed, and early to rise. The more you sleep, the more fatigue you feel. First rest the mind, then the body. After sleeping, you will become beauty. 🍏

A wise man knows the destiny of his soul.

Here is a story where a plot was arranged to bring the message of hope. Creating awareness regarding heaven, as mentioned by Jesus “in my Father’s house” extracted from the gospel written in the Book of John 14, the Books of Hebrew 1 & Revelation 21 & 22.

HEAVEN is a real place where the people of God will live one day. In fact, heaven is where God and the angels live. (Bibleinfo.com)

Brother John, who just came back from the future notified me of what he saw. He said, “I bring you good news from the wondrous city. I saw heaven, it is real. Heaven has a solid real estate.”

‘Yes. Great.’ That’s how my reaction to describe.

And he narrated to me what he saw and heard from a strange place – – –

During that time, it was a season when magnolia flowers blooming on the branch tips and crimson sepals dyeing the mountain red, beside a deserted cottage in the gully at the island of Patmos, one by one they bloom, and one by one, they fade away.

The moment in my vision I saw, I was in the spirit and I flew.

“The winds and the flames of fire took me to a towering mountain peak, and from there I watched that wondrous city. It’s beautiful and great”, he added

Then I walked down near it, and as I entered through a gate I saw the  walls were broad and high circumspected by the winds and fires.

Amazing! The main street was pure, transparent gold, like glass. Everything was gold and precious jewels.

Such was a glorious place permeated with only the fragrance from the throne of God and the Lamb. I saw a river of pure Water of Life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne coursing down the center of the main street. There was no night there, no need for the lamps or sun, for God is the light.

It was a stunning moment when I saw the awesome face of God.

I saw the bright Morning Star. He is preparing homes to ready for his people’s coming.

The Lord told me, “Tell the churches of what you saw. I am coming soon!”

A WONDROUS CITY

This wondrous city was filled with the glory of God and flashed and glowed like a precious gem, crystal clear like jasper.

The city itself was pure, transparent gold like glass! The wall was made of jasper, and was built on twelve layers of foundation stones inlaid with gems: the first layer with jasper; the second with sapphire ; the third with chalcedony ; the fourth with emerald; the fifth with sardonyx; the sixth layer with sardus; the seventh with chrysolite; the eight with beryl; the ninth with topaz; the tenth with chrysoprase; the eleventh with jacinth; the twelfth with amethyst.

The twelve gates were made of pearls - each gate from a single pearl! And the main street was pure, trade gold, like glass.

No temple could be seen in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are worshipped in it everywhere. And the city has no need of sun or moon to light it, for the glory of God and of the Lamb illuminate it. Its light will light the nations of the earth, and the rulers of the world will come abd bring their glory to it. 

👂Nothing evil will be permitted in it--no immoral or dishonest--but only those whose names are written in the Lambs's Book of Life.

Every time I finish writing a micro-article at INSIGHTS INTO THE FUTURE , it would feel as if I had just trailed a rugged road, excited but having a question in my mind. Will somebody get uplifted?

“Nah nah,” I said. I think to consider that within a flash of one’s moment, having stumbled many times, one finally realizes that it is most difficult to become enlightened to the meaning of ignorance.

Nevertheless, once the article is published in different media platforms what awaits ahead will be an oasis.

There’s a very good reason for this. As far as I can tell every article that I made is on the flight path for one towards the future.

Whatever learnings one has acquired from reading, one may establish a good stand everywhere and at all times.

In learning, there are too many hours one spent with a lamp until when rooster calls at morning hours, the best time for one to strive forward.

If one doesn’t learn hard while his hair is still dark, it will be too late to regret when his hair turns grey. One has to gather blossoms while he may at youthful days, and don’t lay until only empty heart awaits.

Effort, hardwork and determination are gifts from heaven.

Pride is inordinate self-esteem, an unreasonable feeling of superiority as to one’s talents, beauty, wealth, rank, and so forth; disdainful behavior or treatment; insolence or arrogance of demeanor, haughty bearing. (Insights on the Scriptures).

Though this article may sound strange for some, I’m fascinated to tell you that as human being, we have nothing to boast about. No man has any ground for boasting in himself or his accomplishments.

The proud person may not recognize that he is proud. Each person should examine himself and his motives thoroughly to determine whether he has this bad trait. It must be rooted out from one’s personality.

A person who will not get rid of his pride will suffer. I’m not a future reader but I believe, there are evidences written in biblical teachings that there’s something beyond to happen.

History and record of teachings proved there are a number of examples of the crash that proud individuals, dynasties, and nations have suffered. And it is dangerous for keeping the pride to one’s self. It won’t give  happiness in the long run.

Amazing Ramon, the head of Sales! With Jun, a Marketing Manager "for all season" of our erstwhile Philadelphia based pharmaceutical company. One thing we admire him the most aside from being cool his remarkable ability to drive a sales process to bring-in revenues to the company.

As Caloy, our District yManager said of him, "I wanna follow the steps of  this man. I learned through the years about this mother's son  performance that made me admire him. His track record is laudable. He continued to rise and go beyond what it was able to achieve the goals set for the year."

"All the time hungry for sales. A good listener, over and above  approachable, and very active to mingle with the team he talked to. He has had a great influence in the company and in the marketplace. He got the magic wand in leading the team. Humble. Resilient. No image of defeat found in him. In the gathering, he showed a little bizarre or cleverness. He brings humor into set of circumstances and allows it in the workplace. He used to put his people first collaborating with them passionately to iron out blurred areas. He is fearless to handle big challenging issues.  He never give up but instead fight to the end building his team. Always ready in every business state of affairs. Most of all, a paramount model in teaching and guidance. "

"A go-getter man. During our night out gig for the boys in a KTV Bar on weekends, he used to sing " My Way".

EVERY MONDAY, we used to meet with Jun for a weekly sales review that runs 20-30 minutes then he pulled us all to perform an action to begin the week objectively - to do things that has to be done. 

"Howdy folks. How y'all? What the hell yuh waitin' for?", Mr Jun called us urgently. 

"Let's act now and delve into the market. Bring home the bacon at the end of the day. Selling is the easiest job in the world if you work it hard, but the hardest job in the world if you try to work it easy. Guys you can't produce sales unless you make a substantial calls everyday. Be consistent. That's a foundation of our commitment", Mr Jun explained.

One time, in the early afternoon of the last day of the week, I got the opportunity to sit down and talked with Mr Ramon, the awesome man. 

I said, "I want to be like you. My dream is to become a Consistent Achiever just like you." 

Mr Ramon replied, "Rod, this business of selling narrows down to one thing--seeing the people." And he lessoned me how to obtain efficiency in my trading grind. 

Mr Ramon continued, "Rod, I will share to you what I learned from my former boss. Do you know that 80% of sales come from 20% of your customers? 

I said, "I'm not aware of that, sir. How would you like to share this with me?"

"Yes, definitely I would", he said. 

"The concept lies in the 20% - of your "to do list", or of your "workload" , or of your "total population of clients" or "number of existing sales force"  or of your "assessment of business plan", or of your "customers that make the bulk of your sales revenues." 

"This technique, 20/80 rule, is scientific. It is alive in selling. It is living and the smarter way to do things easy. It is a useful instrument to help you prioritise and manage the work you plan to do." 

"Think of this, that the 80% of our company's revenues generated by 20% of its customers?"

And he further showed me the technical illustration!

"Listen and follow me", Mr Ramon said. 

 "How big is your sales target in a month?, he asked me. 

I said, "Fourteen thousand every month." 

"How many clients do you have in the master list?", Mr Ramon continued to ask. 

"For now I have Seventy customers in my checklist", I said. 

"20% of 70 is 14. Now you have to identify these fourteen potential clients in your market universe. Focus on the few. Invest your time.  Prioritize. Significant sales results will come from 20 % of your total customers. But do not ignore the others, 56, in your list. Distribute your efforts proportionately. "

"This group, the 20%, will give you 80% bulk of sales in your monthly target and to calibrate the figures, you will have more or less 11K to record with."

Now your slippage of 3K is not a problem. The remaining 56 in the pie will contribute to your shortfall. 

"Sounds good?", Mr Ramon asked. "It's clear." I replied.

Mr Ramon continued to share his idea and said, "I love to transfer this technology to you so that you will become fruitful in every attempt you make. You must work smartly. One day soon, wherever you go you will value this management tool. WITHOUT THIS YOU WON'T MAKE YOUR PURPOSE EASY!

To find happiness is the goal of most people in life. People wants to be happy with their jobs or just in general. But obstacles can sometimes get in the way and prevent you from finding that happiness that you crave so much. You try finding many ways and forget that you can only find true happiness in one person: God.

“A leaf falls from a tree,
who should be blamed? Is it the wind that blew the leaf away? Is it the tree that let it go? Or the leaf itself which never held tight?”, one man asked.

“No one is to be blamed, ‘coz it is the process of aging”, the other man replied.

The voice says, “Shout! ”

“What shall I shout?” I asked.

“Shout that man is like the grass that dies away, and all his beauty fades like dying flowers. The grass withers, the flower fades beneath the breath of heaven. And so it is with fragile man.”

“Let us not grow old filled with regrets for things not done and for words not said, and for love not shown”, the other man explained.

“Life is too short for a man to live”, he continued.

And the voice replied, “Teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are; help us to spend them as we should? Yet the distant time will come when businesses will give their profits to the Lord!”

“Seventy years are given us! And some may even live to eighty. But even the best of these years are often empty and filled with pain; soon they disappear, and we are gone. We finish our years with a moan.”

To live life in full, it is not important to have money, fame, or fortune. What is salient I have Love, so that  I can express “to love and be loved” .

I know that my existence came out of love and this cause of event would carry continually to do the purpose of living with love and to fall in love throughout my continuance.

Why?

If I do this mission, the joy will thrive. If I have love, I would feel the joy in mine heart and definitely my eyes are blinded to see such alluring material things in this world.

What meaning is there in life if we have everything in this world but are not joyful?

Joy is sharing and partly of what we have with others while not being jealous of what other’s have. This type of unselfish and altruistic joy is the most cherished happiness in the world.

Joy illuminates the world with color and fills life with hope. If one lives with joy, with only worry and sorrow, then one does not know how to live life.

It is natural for life to have both joy and sadness. Besides, the ability to be joyful and free from worry is an even higher sowing. Broadcast more love and you will get substantial joy.

Allowing life to be filled with joy is in fact the wisest attitude towards living. Fall in love everyday. It’s amazing!

Love is the source of one’s dream. Do fall in love to have the opportunity to reclaim the benefit of greater Joy in life.

Only the wise are joyful!

Recruitment in essence was the call of love. The love to serve. Before he started, he prayed for the kind of people he wanted to connect, then went to the field and organized a gang. In the first place, allow me to mention the names in sequence, beginning with Andrew, then Peter, Philip and Nathanael. THE MAGIC 4, and the rest is history. 

TODAY, in commerce, the account setting implies recruitment of individuals  to join in direct selling business, networking or in any start up trades where people management is possible to structure an organization.

At John’s words, two of his followers leave him for Jesus – Andrew, the fisherman and an unnamed follower, possibly the apostle John. The news is too good not to share; so first Andrew brings Peter, and then Philip.

PROLOGUE

JOHN: “Now I have seen and testified that he (Jesus) is the Son of God. “

The next day John was there again with two of his disciples, and as he watched Jesus walk by, he said, “Behold, the Lamb of God.”

The two disciples heard what he said and followed Jesus. Jesus turned and saw them following him and said to them,

JESUS: “What are you looking for?”

TWO DISCIPLES : Teacher, where are you staying?

JESUS: Come, and you will see.

So the two disciples went and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day.

It was about four in the afternoon. Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who heard John and followed Jesus. He first found his brother Simon and told him,.

ANDREW: We have found the Annointed One.

Then he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said.

JESUS: You are Simon the son of John, you will be called Peter.

The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee, and he found Philip and said…

JESUS : Follow me.

Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the town of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathanael and told him,

PHILIP: We have found the one about whom Moses wrote in the law, and also in the prophets, Jesus, son of Joseph from Nazareth.

NATHANAEL: Can anything good come from Nazareth?

PHILIP: Come and see.

Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him.

JESUS : Here is a true Israelite. There is no duplicity in him.

NATHANAEL: How do you know me?

JESUS: Before Philip called you, I saw you under the fig tree.

NATHANAEL: Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.

JESUS: Do you believe because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this. Amen, amen, I say to you, you will see the sky opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.

She began writing the “Ask Ann Landers” column in 1955 and continued for 47 years, by which time its readership was 90 million people.

The Widow’s Letter

Dear Ann Landers,

Last year at this time I was a secure, happy wife and mother. Today, I sit here wondering if I can get together the money to pay my utility bills before they shut off the electricity and gas. The grocer has been wonderful about credit. He knows I must feed myself and the five-year-old twins.

Fourteen months ago, I received a phone call from a hospital across town. My husband suffered a heart attack while driving home. By the time I reached the hospital, he was gone. I couldn’t believe it. The man had never had a sick day.

The ironic part of this story is that less than one month before he died, I asked him to buy some life insurance. He refused, saying the smart thing to do is to keep his money in a savings account where he will produce interest. When he died, the bank gave me the $2,200 he had in his savings account. If he had bought the life insurance policy, I would have received $50,000.

I loved my husband dearly, but I can’t help feeling resentful. After all, the children and I were his responsibility. He should have looked out for us. I hope you will print this letter. Maybe somebody will learn from it. – His widow.

DEAR WIDOW: Your husband made a mistake, which unfortunately you and the children are paying for. Put aside your resentment and accept the fact that he was not inconsiderate. He was ignorant.

THROWBACK 25 YEARS AGO: The most challenging career that I ever had was being a life insurance agent in 1997, being a fresher in the industry and one of the pioneers of the newly opened Iloilo Branch, Philippines. During this time we made popular the company’s marketing drive – – as follows:

” There were 292 passengers who died during the Titanic tragic incident in April 14, 1912 were covered with a life insurance and claims had been paid. ”

Yet, the movie ” Titanic” was a nationwide blockbuster when we set our campaign in motion.

It was truly a great and rewarding opportunity that multiplied my income and happiness. Who would have really needed money? I won’t forget it.

I learned the importance of the word – WHY, that I used to answer everytime my client offered me objections. The issue here is to encourage the prospect to talk. As soon as a man gives you reasons why he won’t buy life insurance, and you try to argue, you are not going to sell him.

If you just get him to keep on talking, he will help you sell him. Why? Because he will pick out the most important thing he needs, and stick to it. Usually, that’s the true one.

Using this God given ability, a man will speak kind and gentle words, not to show off, but to inspire others. Also a man will work not for personal investment, but to benefit others.

🍏EXTREME VISION. This tiny bird has four types of cone in their eyes allowing them to see nonspectral colors - the colors invisible to the human eye (humans only have three types. ) They can see colors like UV+red, UV+green, and UV +purple and they can see colors completely unknown to the human eye.

This is the story of VICTORY through faith.

It started through a confrontation between God and Satan the devil regarding Job who is the man of God on earth. Contending that Job’s piety is only for protection of his Prosperity, Satan dares God to put Job in his power. With confidence in Job, God accepts the challenge but defines the limits and one of these is not to kill Job. Satan is released to test Job’s virtue.

Here’s the story of Job of the bible.

There lived in the land of Uz a man named Job – a good man who feared God and stayed away from evil. He had a large family of seven sons and three daughters and was immensely wealthy, for he owned 7,000 sheeps, 3000 camels, 500 teams of oxen, 500 female donkeys, and employed many servants. He was, in fact, the richest cattleman in that entire area.

Every year when Job’s sons had birthdays, they invited their brothers and sisters to their homes for a celebration. On these occasions they would eat and drink with great merriment. When these birthday parties ended, – and sometimes they lasted several days – Job would summon his children to him and sanctify them, getting up early in the morning and offering a burnt offering for each of them. For Job said, “Perhaps my sons have sinned and turned away from God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular practice.

One day as the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, Satan, the Accuser, came with them. “Where have you come from?” the Lord asked Satan. And Satan replied, “From earth, where I’ve been watching everything that’s going on.”

THE TEST OF FAITH

Time came when Job’s faith was tested. God persuaded Satan to test Job – to harm him without any cause. He said to Satan, “You may do anything you like with his wealth, but don’t harm him physically.“

TRAGEDY STRUCK JOB

1. He loses fortune and family.
 
2. He loses health and home.

3. And, loses fame and friends.

Job’s three friends came to console him. But they insisted the man’s plight can only be a punishment for personal wrongdoing and invitation from God to repent. But their opinions were all wrong. They had not been right in what they had said.

RESTORATION

When Job appealed to God, God told him to offer prayers for his friends. When Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his WEALTH and HAPPINESS! In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before!

Then all of his brothers, sisters, and former friends arrived and feasted with him in his home, consoling him because of all the trials the Lord had brought upon him. And each of them brought him a gift of money and a gold ring.

So the Lord blessed Job at the end of his life more than at the beginning. For now he had 14,000 sheeps, 6000 camels, 1000 teams of oxen, and 1000 female donkeys.

God also gave him seven more sons and three more daughters. And in all the land there were no other girls as lovely as the daughters of Job.

Job lived 140 years after that, living to see his grandchildren and great-grandchildren too. Then at last he died, an old man, after living a long, good life.

The Lord heard his prayer. He said to the king, “I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. I will add fifteen (15) years to your life. And I will deliver you and your city from the hands of your enemy. I will defend this city for my sake and for the sake of my people. “

Remark: This event showed a prayer of a righteous man is favorably heard. And there is power in prayer.
