💟 THE BEGINNING

” I WILL TELL YOU exactly what came off incipiently in our direct selling venture”, I replied to one from the  group  ‘Team Yes’ who asked how we got cracking in the journey.

WHEN I was financially broke, my wife and I were always in a quandary on where to get our daily earnings to sustain everyday needs. Since we didn’t have a stable income, we decided to join different direct selling trades and opt to put on sale products of network marketing, insurance, real estate, and other FMCG. Our demands were met but not sufficiently enough. At this point, we knew that we were distracted. No focus. And we felt something was lacking in elbow grease.

💟 THE COMPANY

FORTUNATELY, as if we were destined to shape the crossroads, we grabbed the chance to be one of independent Great Life Executives at Personal Collection Direct Selling Inc. A large company in the Philippines considered a leader in home care market with a flagship brand – TUFF. Majority of its products are essentials and has a cut above marketing compensation plan.   Subsequently, our longed desire to achieve a great life commenced with heart and soul in the bag.

💟 THE COMMITMENT

MY WIFE Leslie and I heartily talked over our allegiance saying, “starting today we will build a personal brand, having one company to represent while puffing up a sales organization that is beyond compare to anybody else. The best team in the industry.”

I SAID to my wife, “Let us project a true image in the market; let us have focus; let us build people and assist them to grow and prosperous; let us operate with only one house to stand-in-for and act for.”

💟 THE GAME PLAN

We sow the seeds through prospecting, followed with a call, and invitations. Eventually, one at a time new partners (recruits) were coming in to join the PC business. Time was moving swiftly and to pull through our pursuit we continually kept up the ‘Field Recruitment Weekly Activity’. Our team coined a slogan to guide – “Recruit, Recruit and Grow” (See one of our schemes being done – field recruitment – below).

WE GREW in numbers and swelled tremendously. Some of us didn’t even know each others name yet. In this case,  we set a date to gather together for a meeting with a displayed name tags. We call this assembly “Appreciation Meeting” which was done twice a month for some arrangement in goal settings, to welcome new partners, snap – training, recognition and fun.

ON THE OTHER HAND, we had a separate agenda for promotables. Promotables are those, regardless of ranks, who aim to rise to the next level position. We sit down objectively to layout a business development plan.

💟 THE ORGANIZATION

There is truth to a catchphrase that says, “Build people up and they will build you up.”

We drew up ‘promotion to the next level’ so that the ladder of success must be climbed.

EACH ONE in the team had to intensify recruitment campaign to build a potential group. This is the way, we knew to acquire growth in group sales volume and recruitment standard.

As of 2021, we put in place eight independent Great Life Executives (GLE). The highest position in the company’s partnership program.

💟 A RESILIENT ATTITUDE

We were humbly tough. We never gave up during pandemic (2020) when Covid-19 caused paralysis to many transactions and dreams. The city government allowed the business operations to carry on because our products are essentials. We all acted in accordance with health protocols to control the spread of Covid. Despite the odds, two managers from the team were able to accelerate performance and sit as Grear Life Executives.

💟 AT PRESENT

Looking back across the years, our PC business has flourished and transformed the entire course of lives to my family as well as to the team members who had strived to make a difference.

Now more than ever, we drag on to share the technology of the craft as we always emphasize to scrabble the ladder, where at the top they would come by the key to open the door for a Great Life.

💟 THE ACHIEVEMENTS

In 2021, we attained the Gold Prestige Club Award and qualified for Vietnam – Cambodia Trip 2022.

Also, we achieved the challenge to join in the Dealer Summit to be held in Manila & Singapore, 2022.

Here is a tale how Jesus set up his team to kick off the mission. The start up operation involved the calling of his future team (disciples).

Recruitment in essence was the call of love. The love to serve. Before he started, he prayed for the kind of people he wanted to connect, then went to the field and organized a gang. In the first place, allow me to mention the names in sequence, beginning with Andrew, then Peter, Philip and Nathanael. THE MAGIC 4, and the rest is history. 

TODAY, in commerce, the account setting implies recruitment of individuals  to join in direct selling business, networking or in any start up trades where people management is possible to structure an organization.

At John’s words, two of his followers leave him for Jesus – Andrew, the fisherman and an unnamed follower, possibly the apostle John. The news is too good not to share; so first Andrew brings Peter, and then Philip.

PROLOGUE

JOHN: “Now I have seen and testified that he (Jesus) is the Son of God. “

The next day John was there again with two of his disciples, and as he watched Jesus walk by, he said, “Behold, the Lamb of God.”

The two disciples heard what he said and followed Jesus. Jesus turned and saw them following him and said to them,

JESUS: “What are you looking for?”

TWO DISCIPLES : Teacher, where are you staying?

JESUS: Come, and you will see.

So the two disciples went and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day.

It was about four in the afternoon. Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who heard John and followed Jesus. He first found his brother Simon and told him,.

ANDREW: We have found the Annointed One.

Then he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said.

JESUS: You are Simon the son of John, you will be called Peter.

The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee, and he found Philip and said…

JESUS : Follow me.

Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the town of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathanael and told him,

PHILIP: We have found the one about whom Moses wrote in the law, and also in the prophets, Jesus, son of Joseph from Nazareth.

NATHANAEL: Can anything good come from Nazareth?

PHILIP: Come and see.

Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him.

JESUS : Here is a true Israelite. There is no duplicity in him.

NATHANAEL: How do you know me?

JESUS: Before Philip called you, I saw you under the fig tree.

NATHANAEL: Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.

JESUS: Do you believe because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this. Amen, amen, I say to you, you will see the sky opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.

About ten years ago when I was an undergraduate in college, I was working as an intern at my University's Museum of Natural History. One day while working at cash register in the gift shop, I saw an elderly couple come in with a little girl in a wheelchair. As I looked closer at this girl, I saw that she was kind of perched on her chair.

I then realize she had no arms or legs, just a head, neck and torso. She was wearing a little white dress with red polka dots. As I took the money from her grandparents, I looked back at the girl, who was giving me the cutest, largest smile I have ever seen. 

All of a sudden her handicap was gone and all I saw was this beautiful girl, whose smile just melted me and almost instantly gave me a completely new sense of what life is all about. She took me from a poor, unhappy college student and brought me into her world - a world of smiles, love and warmth. 

That was ten years ago, I'm a successful business person now and whenever I get down and think about the troubles of the world, I think about that little girl and the remarkable lesson about life that she taught me.

So how can one build a gratitude muscle and become more appreciative? Here are some simple stategies:

Start each day by thinking about all you appreciate and expect from the day, and as you turn out the lights at the end of each day also consider all you’re grateful for.

Throughout each day, find small things about which you can be thankful. Perhaps the line at the coffee place was shorter this morning or your coworker made you smile. Avoid taking things for granted. Make everything count and bring conscious attention to elements which make you glad.

Ensure you’re focusing on being grateful not just for things, but for people and conditions. Perhaps you particularly appreciate the headphones which help make your workout more fun, but also pay attention to the person at the club who made you feel welcome or the fact that you have the capability to walk, lift or stretch.

Gratitude is both an individual and a team sport. When you share what you’re grateful for in a team environment, it holds even more power. Thank a coworker during a team meeting or provide positive feedback to a colleague during a project session. When gratitude is expressed and shared, it helps both you and the group.

Gratitude is good, and it has plenty of positive effects. It may also be what can help get us through the last miles of the pandemic marathon. Staying present, being attentive to others and appreciating all we have – just as we wait for all we want – can help us get to the finish line. 🍏

MONEY CAN BE BOTH BENEFICIAL AND HARMFUL.

MONEY is a medium of exchange. Evidently, the oldest method of making a business transaction.

MONEY provides a defense against poverty and its attendant troubles, enabling persons to procure both necessities and luxuries. For this reason the possibility exists of a person’s beginning to trust in money as security.

The love of money is a root of all sorts of injurious things, and by reaching out for this love some have been led astray from the faith and have stabbed themselves all over with many pains.

For money, persons have perverted justice, prostituted themselves, committed murder, betrayed others, and falsified the truth.

💡On the other hand, the proper use of money is approved by God. This includes contributing toward the advancement of pure worship and giving material assistance to those in need. Although much good can thus be done with money, the most valuable things – – – spiritual food and drink, eternal life itself – can be obtained without MONEY.

Do Money Really Talks?

MONEY makes everyone hear and respond. If you have money, you have influence and resources. 

Money answers to every demand, hears every wish, grants whatever one longs for, helps to all. In this view, the statement that "Money is the answer for everything" is an ancient version of our modern day saying "Money talks". 

To the foolish, "it is money that is the answer to everything" (Eaton, Tyndale Old Testament Commentaries, 16:138).

In modern terms, the life of the foolish is circumscribed by partying, alcohol, and money. We see this foolishness play itself out in the world daily.

It is unfortunately true that "Money talks" and seems to be the answer to everything in our world. But wisdom decrees, to the king on down, that the pursuit of riches leads to trouble. Not all problems can be fixed with money. 

In the end, money, wealth, and material possessions are a hard taskmaster, and only a fool would say, "Money is the answer for everything."
