Karma means an action, work or deed, and its effect or consequences. The term more specifically refers to a principle of cause and effect, often descriptively called the Principle of Karma, wherein intent (speak) and actions (deed) of an individual influence the future of that individual. Good intent and good deeds contribute to good karma and happier rebirths, while bad intent and bad deeds contribute to bad karma and rebirths. (Wikipedia)

Here’s the house rule to avoid bad karma:

🍏SPEAK NOT unwholesome words to one. 
🍏DO NOT unwholesome deeds to one.
🍏THINK NOT unwholesome thoughts to one.

Nobody is perfect but a person’s true colors will always show within time. You may be fooled for the moment, but be patient and see what happens.

A man has tw choices: to live a happy life now and enjoy in the future, and to be cursed now and suffer in the future. 🏛️

Pride is inordinate self-esteem, an unreasonable feeling of superiority as to one’s talents, beauty, wealth, rank, and so forth; disdainful behavior or treatment; insolence or arrogance of demeanor, haughty bearing. (Insights on the Scriptures).

Though this article may sound strange for some, I’m fascinated to tell you that as human being, we have nothing to boast about. No man has any ground for boasting in himself or his accomplishments.

The proud person may not recognize that he is proud. Each person should examine himself and his motives thoroughly to determine whether he has this bad trait. It must be rooted out from one’s personality.

A person who will not get rid of his pride will suffer. I’m not a future reader but I believe, there are evidences written in biblical teachings that there’s something beyond to happen.

History and record of teachings proved there are a number of examples of the crash that proud individuals, dynasties, and nations have suffered. And it is dangerous for keeping the pride to one’s self. It won’t give  happiness in the long run.

THE KING OF PRIDE

How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! 

How you are cut down to the ground - mighty though you were against the nations of the world.

You were the perfection of wisdom and beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; your clothing was bejeweled with every precious stone  all in beautiful settings of gold. They were given to you on the day you were created.

Amazing Ramon, the head of Sales! With Jun, a Marketing Manager "for all season" of our erstwhile Philadelphia based pharmaceutical company. One thing we admire him the most aside from being cool his remarkable ability to drive a sales process to bring-in revenues to the company.

As Caloy, our District yManager said of him, "I wanna follow the steps of  this man. I learned through the years about this mother's son  performance that made me admire him. His track record is laudable. He continued to rise and go beyond what it was able to achieve the goals set for the year."

"All the time hungry for sales. A good listener, over and above  approachable, and very active to mingle with the team he talked to. He has had a great influence in the company and in the marketplace. He got the magic wand in leading the team. Humble. Resilient. No image of defeat found in him. In the gathering, he showed a little bizarre or cleverness. He brings humor into set of circumstances and allows it in the workplace. He used to put his people first collaborating with them passionately to iron out blurred areas. He is fearless to handle big challenging issues.  He never give up but instead fight to the end building his team. Always ready in every business state of affairs. Most of all, a paramount model in teaching and guidance. "

"A go-getter man. During our night out gig for the boys in a KTV Bar on weekends, he used to sing " My Way".

EVERY MONDAY, we used to meet with Jun for a weekly sales review that runs 20-30 minutes then he pulled us all to perform an action to begin the week objectively - to do things that has to be done. 

"Howdy folks. How y'all? What the hell yuh waitin' for?", Mr Jun called us urgently. 

"Let's act now and delve into the market. Bring home the bacon at the end of the day. Selling is the easiest job in the world if you work it hard, but the hardest job in the world if you try to work it easy. Guys you can't produce sales unless you make a substantial calls everyday. Be consistent. That's a foundation of our commitment", Mr Jun explained.

One time, in the early afternoon of the last day of the week, I got the opportunity to sit down and talked with Mr Ramon, the awesome man. 

I said, "I want to be like you. My dream is to become a Consistent Achiever just like you." 

Mr Ramon replied, "Rod, this business of selling narrows down to one thing--seeing the people." And he lessoned me how to obtain efficiency in my trading grind. 

Mr Ramon continued, "Rod, I will share to you what I learned from my former boss. Do you know that 80% of sales come from 20% of your customers? 

I said, "I'm not aware of that, sir. How would you like to share this with me?"

"Yes, definitely I would", he said. 

"The concept lies in the 20% - of your "to do list", or of your "workload" , or of your "total population of clients" or "number of existing sales force"  or of your "assessment of business plan", or of your "customers that make the bulk of your sales revenues." 

"This technique, 20/80 rule, is scientific. It is alive in selling. It is living and the smarter way to do things easy. It is a useful instrument to help you prioritise and manage the work you plan to do." 

"Think of this, that the 80% of our company's revenues generated by 20% of its customers?"

And he further showed me the technical illustration!

"Listen and follow me", Mr Ramon said. 

 "How big is your sales target in a month?, he asked me. 

I said, "Fourteen thousand every month." 

"How many clients do you have in the master list?", Mr Ramon continued to ask. 

"For now I have Seventy customers in my checklist", I said. 

"20% of 70 is 14. Now you have to identify these fourteen potential clients in your market universe. Focus on the few. Invest your time.  Prioritize. Significant sales results will come from 20 % of your total customers. But do not ignore the others, 56, in your list. Distribute your efforts proportionately. "

"This group, the 20%, will give you 80% bulk of sales in your monthly target and to calibrate the figures, you will have more or less 11K to record with."

Now your slippage of 3K is not a problem. The remaining 56 in the pie will contribute to your shortfall. 

"Sounds good?", Mr Ramon asked. "It's clear." I replied.

Mr Ramon continued to share his idea and said, "I love to transfer this technology to you so that you will become fruitful in every attempt you make. You must work smartly. One day soon, wherever you go you will value this management tool. WITHOUT THIS YOU WON'T MAKE YOUR PURPOSE EASY!

The Word of God is a moisturizer. Apply this everyday and your skin shall be fresher like a child.

Chase not the past and hope not for the future. The past has gone, and the future has yet to come.  

Practice the truth today, and by doing so, one lives at the present invincibly unshaken without any hindrances. 

IN MY YOUTH, I listened to the rain from meanings in the books. 

IN MY PRIME, I listened to the rain from a passerby, for the street is a mix of victories and failures.  

NOW, I listened to the rain from inside my heart. 

Allow me to share with you some tips to bring physical body transformation of becoming young. With these methods you’ll look younger than your age.

A moisturizer is a preparation (such as lotion or cream) applied to the skin or hair to prevent or relieve dryness. ( Merriam-Webster)

Face and skin cleansing is the trending body care mode of the millineals or of the gen Z nowadays, when awareness had started fron generation X.

Ordinarily I don’t talk about beauty tips. I have little knowledge of applications. But when it comes to moisturiser, it’s hard to stay off the subject for long. I experienced the good effect of this formulation. It delays aging process.

Smooth aging!

Here’s a simple tip for a makeover. Clean your face with a facial wash or a little bit of soap. Let it dry. Put a little moisturizer.

Perform this physical technique regularly, shall we try for 30 days concomitant with some food supplements to take everyday like Vitamin E or any Multivitamins preparation?

After the trial period, you will be surprised of the results. Come to the mirror and look at your face. See! You look younger than your age.

Indeed, you’re glowing and shine.

FURTHERMORE, I would also like to share these old tips proven in ancient times on how to make a person looks young.

The word of God has thousands of promises for a better life. It is like a moisturizer. Keep reading the word and apply in everyday living. And your flesh will be renewed like that of a child. Praise your creator – your God! When praises go up, blessings come down.

Praise his holy name, and forget not one of his benefits – who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles.

Then your body will become as healthy as a child’s, firm, and youthful again.

The lines have to be understood not simply and absolutely, but comparatively, with respect to former condition – who before was reduced to skin and bone, is now become fat and lump, and whose flesh was dry and withered, now moist, succulent, and juicy.

And whose skin was wrinkled, now soft and smooth, and sleek, and whose face was pale, now bloomy and pinkish.

One more thing, the most important of all is to live with a cheerful heart. It makes one young and develops a healthy body.

Hey buddy, the first and foremost thing a man should know on earth who’s the creator and designer of life.

In this article, your eyes will be opened to discover the goodness of God and you’ll find a credible witness revealing He was the designer of all living and non-living things. He was there in the making of man somewhere on earth believed to be in the east during the day of creation.

Everything about being a man lies in the heart, with a pure heart one will see God and having a kind heart blessings will be within reach to survive the storm of life. With a wicked heart the storm of life will be inevitable.

“I can’t stop lovin’ you”, said the Lord. Heaven would like us all to become fortunate in living. So here is the first teaching to life to serve as a guide which was recounted in the Sermon in the Mount, or on a Plain – The Beatitudes. One should think of this and follow. Time comes when one’s heart will speak how lucky a man would be with a light on his path.

Each beatitude depicts the ideal heart condition of a citizen of Heaven. Thus, a believer experiences abundant spiritual blessings.

The Beatitude is the first and longest teaching of Jesus Christ. It shows how people ought to live – not simply according to a set of rules but by an inner revolution of attitude and outlook, giving men the power to live up to it.

About happiness, it is not the go-getters, the tough ones, those who bend the rules, who are the real successes. The truly happy ones are those who recognize the spiritual poverty of self-reliance and learn to depend wholly on God. Everything else follows from this.

🌄The people who can be certain of a future are the humble, the forgiving, the pure, those who set their hearts on what is right, who try to heal the rifts.

And here and now, they are the ones who put the seasoning into life, who stop the rot, who light up the way. By what they do.

Be glad and joyful, for a great reward is kept for us in heaven. 🍏

Here’s an ancient story that implies manpower selection process, skills requirements, and training needs for potential persons to work in the palace to serve the king.

AT THAT TIME when Jerusalem was attacked by King Nebuchadnezzar with his armies the Lord gave him victory. When he returned to his palace he took along some sacred treasures and captives.

Then he ordered his man in charged of the palace personnel, to select youth from captives – young men of the royal family and from noble family – and to teach them their language and literature.

Pick strong, healthy, good-looking lads; those who have read widely in many fields, are well informed, alert and sensible, and have enough poise to look good around the palace.

The King assigned them the best of food and wine from his own kitchen during their three-year training period, planning to make them his counselors when they graduated.

Among the chosen youth, there were four named Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah who made up their mind not to eat the royal food and wine given to them by the King.

DANIEL SUGGESTED to the steward for a 10-day diet test of only Vegetables and Water; then, at the end of this trial period the steward could see how they looked in comparison with the other fellows who ate the King’s rich food and decide whether or not to let them continue their diet.

The steward finally agreed to the test. Well, at the end of the ten days, Daniel and his three friends looked healthier and better nourished than the youths who had been eating the food supplied by the King! So after that the steward fed them only vegetables and water, without the rich food and wines!God gave these four youths great ability to learn, and they soon mastered all the literature and science of the time.

When the three-year training period was completed, the King was impressed of them and they were put on his regular staff of advisors.

[ Here is the story of miracle that Jesus Christ did which I love to read most in the bible - 
raising of Jairus daughter from the dead.

It touches my heart. As the lines progress on, the spirit of God moves me eventually until a drop of tears are coming out from my eyes. 

This event had happened in the past, but I'm sure it will come off to those with strong faith. A heart of conviction is, indeed, necessary to move the hands of God.]

THE ACCOUNT OF THE EVENT IS FULL OF ACTIONS. HOLD YOUR BREATH!

Jairus was the father of a 12-year-old girl whom Jesus raised from the dead. Jairus was a ruler in the synagogue of Capernaum, so he was a well-known religious leader.

At that time, Jairus came to Jesus, pleading with Him to come lay His hands on his only daughter, who was near death. He humbled himself before Jesus, falling down at His feet.

Jairus expressed faith in Jesus' ability to heal his child, and Jesus began to follow him home. 

As Jesus walked with Jairus, they had to press through a large crowd. "The crowds almost crushed him." It is likely that the crowd slowed Jesus' progress considerably, and this must have been frustrating for Jairus - time was of the essence, since his daughter was at the point of death.

In the midst of the crowd, a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years came up behind Jesus and touched the hem of his robe, saying to herself, "If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed." Her flow of blood dried up immediately.

Jesus felt that power had gone out from Him, and He turned to ask who had touched His clothing. The woman came to Him, trembling in fear, and, falling before Him, told Him the truth. Jesus said, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."

As Jesus was speaking to the woman, some people from the house of Jairus arrived and told Jairus that his daughter was dead and there was no need to trouble Jesus anymore.  Jesus overheard the news and gave Jairus two commands and a promise: "Don't be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed."

Together, they continued towards the house of Jairus. When they got there, the mourners were wailing and weeping, but Jesus asked them, "Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep." 

The mourners turned into scoffers, laughing and making fun of Jesus. 
Undettered, Jesus went into the house, taking with Him Jairus and his wife, along with His three disciples- Peter, James, and John. Jesus entered the room where Jairus' daughter lay. He took the dead girl by the hand and said, "Talitha koum," which means, "Little girl, I say to you, arise". Immediately, the girl"s spirit returned, and she got up and began walking around. 

Everyone was "completely astonished"; literally, they were "removed from a standing position" or, as we might say, they were "floored" or "thrown for a loop." Jesus then commanded Jairus to give his daughter something to eat but not tell anyone about the miracle. 🍏

To find happiness is the goal of most people in life. People wants to be happy with their jobs or just in general. But obstacles can sometimes get in the way and prevent you from finding that happiness that you crave so much. You try finding many ways and forget that you can only find true happiness in one person: God.

“A leaf falls from a tree,
who should be blamed? Is it the wind that blew the leaf away? Is it the tree that let it go? Or the leaf itself which never held tight?”, one man asked.

“No one is to be blamed, ‘coz it is the process of aging”, the other man replied.

The voice says, “Shout! ”

“What shall I shout?” I asked.

“Shout that man is like the grass that dies away, and all his beauty fades like dying flowers. The grass withers, the flower fades beneath the breath of heaven. And so it is with fragile man.”

“Let us not grow old filled with regrets for things not done and for words not said, and for love not shown”, the other man explained.

“Life is too short for a man to live”, he continued.

And the voice replied, “Teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are; help us to spend them as we should? Yet the distant time will come when businesses will give their profits to the Lord!”

“Seventy years are given us! And some may even live to eighty. But even the best of these years are often empty and filled with pain; soon they disappear, and we are gone. We finish our years with a moan.”

Because of this, “there’s nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil –

In this world, a person’s life is valuable. The memories that we create with every person that we meet and moments that we cherish become life’s greatest treasure as the recollections that we established with one another will last a lifetime.

Be happy! I wanna share with you my greatest treasure. Hope you’ll like although it’s not tangible, but a precious   G – I – F – T.

G – God

My faith thrills me that my God is my greatest treasure. He is my creator. He is my wisdom, my life, my strength, my love, and my deliverer. A precious gift of my life. 

In monotheistic thought, God is usually viewed as the supreme being, creator, and principal object  of faith. God is usually conceived of as being omnipotent, omniscient,  omnipresent, and omnibenevolent as well as having an eternal and necessary existence. (Wikipedia). 

I – myself

I love myself. I am valuable. I am a precious gem, a treasure in the eyes of my creator. What I become is my dearest gift to him.

Then I commit to be a candle, burning up myself, to shine upon others. I commit to be a paintbrush, painting humanity with color, bringing forth beauty. I commit to be a street lamp, breaking through the darkness, lighting the way. I commit to be a great tree, flourishing with leaves, shading passersby. I commit to be a book, manifesting the truth, giving others wisdom. I commit to be a great earth, supporting living beings, giving life to all things. I commit to live peacefully.

My commitments will serve as treasure to others.

F – Family

My family is my greatest treasure. I can bring harmony to my family by bonding to be a better spouse, developing a more loving child, and a more respectful sibling. Furthermore, I should work to educate my children, so that they  may become the future leaders, the men of vision and passion (MVP). And to hone them to become better persons.

T – Time

“Time is gold.” And time is a great treasure that can never be turned back. Just like water, time continues to flow away. There is always time for everything under the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:3). Using my time properly will help me measure improvements to everything that I do.

Time management is the process of planning and exercising conscious control of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity. (Wikipedia)

Undoubtedly, I will cherish this GIFT of life as long as I live. 🍏🍏 🍏

Is it amazing to fall in love?

To live life in full, it is not important to have money, fame, or fortune. What is salient I have Love, so that  I can express “to love and be loved” .

I know that my existence came out of love and this cause of event would carry continually to do the purpose of living with love and to fall in love throughout my continuance.

Why?

If I do this mission, the joy will thrive. If I have love, I would feel the joy in mine heart and definitely my eyes are blinded to see such alluring material things in this world.

What meaning is there in life if we have everything in this world but are not joyful?

Joy is sharing and partly of what we have with others while not being jealous of what other’s have. This type of unselfish and altruistic joy is the most cherished happiness in the world.

Joy illuminates the world with color and fills life with hope. If one lives with joy, with only worry and sorrow, then one does not know how to live life.

It is natural for life to have both joy and sadness. Besides, the ability to be joyful and free from worry is an even higher sowing. Broadcast more love and you will get substantial joy.

Allowing life to be filled with joy is in fact the wisest attitude towards living. Fall in love everyday. It’s amazing!
