In the second month of 2001, I got a big job since my graduate school days, as a School Administrator / Chief Operating Officer for a prestigious large education system company.
It was a great call to my career that I never thought - to initiate the start up operation of a new business school, from zero to 1, bounded by time.
In high spirit, the task brought me joy!
Though I had written notes and several book references, I'd only dreamed of managing big entity using my acquired knowledge from the streets.
Looking for some back-ups I reviewed my old notes. In my study filing cabinet, I saw old papers and letters. They showed its age, soft brittled when you hold on it. I put time to browse my old documents and got something that made me engrossed - the biographies of traditional management "gurus".
Truly, I was inspired to read business mentor's backgrounds. It adds to my lore.

He was motivated to create the ultimate, efficient work environment, he devised a system he termed Scientific Management.
