SAGACITY OF LIVING

Realize that true happiness lies within you. Do all things with love.”

— Og Mandino – –

Nowadays, how much one possess, say a lot of things, is the standard measurement, if not all, of living happy. Could material things make one happy?

One is moved by personal urge to acquire and enjoy the temporary benefits of material things. However, all these possessions are like a piece of heavy metal in the luggage, it can be weighty.

Human desire to possess anything is tempting. It is a sign of greed. It may bring sickness to the body.

"Beware! Don't always be wishing for what you don't have. For real life and real living are not related to how rich we are."(The Book of Luke 12:15).
I remember the story of the Great Temptation, when the adversary took Jesus to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him the nations of the world and all their glory.

He said, "I'll give it all to you, if you only kneel and worship me". (Tempting)

But Jesus rebuke him, and he went away. (The Book of Matthew 4:8-10).
What on earth are scientists all doing just to discover something in vitro? What's the point when astronomers spend their time lying on their backs looking at stars? Are they trying to spot happiness out there for mankind?
