PUT A LITTLE LOVE IN YOUR HEART | DAVE CLARK 5

Yellow is a symbol of change.

One morning, every year into this routine of gathering with the whole family to celebrate Christmas, I came up to the table of a solitary man sitting alone.

I smiled and said, “What would you like this morning, grandpa? I can recommend the hot coffee, bread, and fried sunny side egg associated with bacon”, when I saw the one white envelope on the table with my name on it. I looked the old man in the face, probably in a surprised way, and felt there was a card inside.

“This is the only thing I can give you, son, this season of joy”, he softly whispered.

“Hey. Open it”, he said.

A yellow card! It was a ‘Holidays Greeting Card’ . And I read the lines…

December 25th

To my dearest grandson Coco Rod,

🍏There are times when one hold grudges because of a single word.
🍏There are times when one is trapped with worries because of a single situation.
🍏There are times when one become depressed because of a single person.
🍏There are times when one felt wrong for life because of a single  mistake.
🍏There are times  when one lost opportunity because of a single doubt.

When one can let go of gossip and stop comparing with others, we can be free from entanglement of interpersonal relationships.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!

Your loving grandpa ❀️

“Thank you grandpa”, I said with a smile and hug the old man. Whispering to his ear, “Merry Christmas, Grandpa.”

πŸ’‘And he replied, “There are many people who are used to being calculative and comparative in life. Their minds are full of suspicion and hatred. Bound by greed, anger, and ignorance, and worries, they live as if they were in hell. If we can be broad-minded and tolerant in everthing, as well as drive our minds to the right path at every moment, then it would be as if we are living in heaven. “

“Merry Christmas, my dearest grandson. Be happy !” , he wished me.

He was 92, when he went away and didn’t come back anymore. πŸ›οΈ
